Check-in begins at 3pm. Guests arriving earlier than 3pm are welcome to use the resort immediately upon arrival even if their room is not ready.  The hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.

The water is typically pretty calm and is swimmable most of the time. The water is great for paddle boarding, but not for surfing. There are barriers further out in the water that prevent seaweed and larger marine life from coming into the swim area. Take the typical precautions and use your personal judgement. Check the flag warnings daily.

As for the beach - There are crews working in the early mornings to clean up sargassum on the beach. The beach sand is soft and not rocky.

There will likely be vendors on the beach. If you are not interested in their product, just respond with a “No, thank you,” and they will leave you alone. They don’t typically come past the first row of chairs, so if you don’t want to be bothered, get a chair further back from the water.

The hotel does not provide pool floats; however you may bring your own, and the shack behind the pool behind can inflate them for you.

The Hyatt Inclusive Collection app has maps, dress codes, lists of restaurants and bars, ability to order room service, reserve/rent a Bali bed on the beach, see daily activities, etc. It’s a great resource and you should definitely download it!
